Mr. Gopavarapu is the present chairperson of the American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI) of the SoCal Chapter.
Mr. Gopavarapu has served as President of the American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI) of the SoCal Chapter during 2011-2012.
Mr. Gopavarapu has served as a treasurer of ASEI National Board during 2013 and is currently serving as ASEI National board Chair.
Under his leadership, the ASEI SoCal chapter hosted the 26th ASEI National Convention at Cal State University, Fullerton in September 2011.
Mr. Gopavarapu is currently also serving as a Board Member of the Cal State Long Beach Advisory and Development Council in the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Additionally
Mr. Gopavarapu is serving as a Board Of Trustee in the Telugu Association Southern California (TASC) board and is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
Mr. Gopavarapu has formed a company called SSRV Investments, LLC, in 2011 which is a real estate investment company focused on buying single-family homes to help US Housing and economy.
